Patrik Illo

Patrik is the Lead Designer and Visual Artist at RONA, a.s., he focuses on glass design, experimental design, creation of objects and installations.

Since 2010 he has been the Director of the GLASS Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.

He has won several designers awards, and his works have been presented at 40 individual exhibitions and more than 100 joint exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad, as well as being published in various collections.

Marika Račeková

Born in Trenčín, Slovakia. Marika graduated from VSVU Bratislava in 2007, specializing in the field of glass art.

Since 2008 she has been working for RONA glassworks as a designer. In 2009 Marika received RONA reward in cooperation with the Nova Gallery.

Besides the industrial design she is active also in the author´s design. Her products and glass pieces can be seen at various group exhibitions both at home and abroad, glass symposiums as well as individual exhibitions.

Aleksandra Stencel

Young Polish designer who’s living in Slovakia. Since 2013 works for glass factory RONA, a.s., in Lednicke Rovne.

Graduated from Jan Matejko’s Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland, with Master’s Degree in Product Design. During the studies, she completed scholarship in Studio of Glass at Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia. She obtained scholarship for outstanding achivements in studing process from The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Poland.

In year 2013 she was given Prize for The Best Collection at Bratislava Design Week.

Miloš Janků

Miloš graduated from the Glass Art and Industrial Design School in Železný Brod in 1974.

His main focus is industrial design, but he also works with applied art objects for interiors and machine-made glassware sets. Miloš worked for glassware producers including Crystalex, Jihlavské sklárne, Sklárne Bohemia Světlá, Avir Union, Lustry Kamenický Šenov, Sklo Union, and Osvetlovacie sklo, and has been working for RONA since 1996.
